About Kaeru Duel Alpha

Kaeru Duel Alpha is a set of custom servers compatible with the discontinued mobile game, Pokémon Duel, bringing back ever more of the game's original features so that players, new and old, can enjoy them in 2020, even though the official backend was shut down.

The service is currently only compatible with Android devices but can be setup without too much difficulty. Many have also reported success using Android emulators such as Nox, although we prioritise physical devices in our development.

At the moment, because Kaeru Duel is in very early ('alpha') stages, access to our servers is only available to our Patreon supporters. You can become a Patron by visiting https://www.patreon.com/kaeru. All donations are gratefully received and help us to continue development, as well as pay for the servers.

We plan to open the service up to the general public free of charge once it is more stable, but for the time being, keeping the number of users low greatly helps with debugging.

As with all of our revival services, you'll need to have a legitimate copy of the game already to use Kaeru Duel. As it has unfortunately been delisted from the App Store and the Play Store, you can only download it if you had added it to your account before it was delisted. You can try clicking on this link to redownload Pokémon Duel on Android devices: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.pokemon.pokemoncomaster

Once you have installed the latest version of Pokémon Duel from the Play Store, you'll need to download Kaeru Patcher and contact our team for further instructions.
